Janelle Inman, Program Manager
Janelle was raised in Oxford, NC. She graduated from Granville Early College High School in 2014 where she obtained a high school diploma as well as credits towards an Associate’s degree. After graduation she continued her education at North Carolina Central University where she majored in dietetics. In 2017 Janelle graduated honors with a Bachelor’s of Science in Foods and Nutrition. During completion at North Carolina Central University she completed more than 120 hours of health based community service. Janelle was awarded Most Outstanding Nutrition Student as well as Certificates of Achievement.

Janelle has a broad range of experience but primarily focuses on health education. After becoming vegetarian in 2011 her interest sparked towards healthy eating. She enjoys educating the community with tips and skills to sustaining a healthier lifestyle. Janelle has completed multiple education seminars with ages ranging from adolescents to seniors. In 2017 she completed an internship at Healthy Diets Inc. in Raleigh, NC where she experienced clinical work and diet counseling. Janelle worked closely with Dietitians and patients who needed help with weight loss, weight gain, diabetes, and hypertension.

As Program Manager of Turning Point Community Development Cooperation her role is to manage our community programming efforts with an emphasis on STEAM Dreams and the Health and Wellness programs.
